Obituary Announcement

William Davie

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of William (Bill) Davie on July 11, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospice at the age of 69 following a well fought battle with cancer. Bill was a lifelong resident of Sarnia and spent many years as a Hardwood Refinisher.  His true passion was car racing and he loved to watch them every opportunity he had. Nothing made his weekend and put a smile on his face like a trip to Delaware. Pre-deceased by his parents, Peter and Edith. Bill is survived by his wife Linda and her children Rick (Elizabeth), Darryl (Nancy), Cheryl (Chad) and his grandsons Brett, Jett, Hunter, Justin and Lucas. His brothers, Bob (JoAnn) and Bruce (Sheree), his nieces Erin, Sarah, and Sheryl, nephew Dwayne and their families, and his good long-time friend Bill Gibbs. A loving Uncle, step-father and Grandpa.  Bill was an honest and caring person. Encouraging others and showing a true interest in their accomplishments and ambitions. Cremation, a family service and interment have taken place. Sympathy may be expressed through a donation to St. Joseph’s Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to McCormack Funeral Home – Stewart Chapel, Sarnia.
