WORTON, Raymond Kenneth - Passed peacefully on Nov. 25th at Afton Park Place, Sarnia, to be with his loving wife Rita, of 67 years (Dec 2016) and his Lord and Saviour after 91 years of glory. Sadly missed by his son Clive Ian Worton, grandsons Adrian (Lindsay) and Aron (Jessica) and 4 great grandchildren. Raymond was the youngest of 4 predeceased brothers and 2 sisters. He will be dearly missed by his Sister in law Sylvia Wilding, niece Helen Thompson (Dean), Catherine Worton, Sheila and Brian Rooker. Ray was born in West Bromwich, England, he worked as a draftsman where he met Rita, they operated a florist shop in Perry Barr, Birmingham for 19 years before moving to Canada in 1968. The owner of Adserve Specialties (Sarnia) for 18 years. Involved with Seaway Kiwanis in Sarnia for many years, becoming Lieutenant Governor for Eastern Canada and the Caribbean. Ray and Rita were active members of Bethel Church, organizing many adventures and fellowship with people from all walks of life, always thankful for the true friends he made within his faith, and love of the Lord. He was an avid videographer and soccer fan always ready to watch a game especially the ‘Baggies.’ Ray had an amazing hand for calligraphy, also will be fondly remembered for his English style sense of humour, always trying to crack a funny for a smile.
