Wright, Mary

Peacefully, on Friday December 15th, 2017 at Marshall Gowland Manor, at the age of 98. Mary, will be sadly missed by her niece Kathleen Pierce and her husband Robert, nephews Robert Wright and his wife Patricia of Toronto, and Richard Wright of Sarnia, along with several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Mary worked at Polysar and Nova from 1946 till 1984 where she was a private secretary to the finance officer. Mary was an original and lifetime member of St Bartholomew’s Church. She also enjoyed travelling all over the world. A special thanks to the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor “Ivy Unit”, for their compassionate care of Mary for her last 12 years. Cremation has taken place and an interment of her cremated remains will take place in the spring. I will always remember Mary’s smile. For so many years, every time I went into Ivy and if Mary was sitting by the doors, she would greet you with a smile and say “What’s on today”? Sorry for your loss.

Dear Kay & Family, Mary has finally gained her wings and she is now resting with the Lord , I will always remember Mary but then how could you not she was one-of-a-kind , rest in peace Mary. Kay I have to pay honour to you for being such a wonderful niece to Mary You always had her needs at your best interest and advocated for her at all times there will be a star in heaven for you one day .
