John passed peacefully on Sunday December 9, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, at the age of 70. John will be missed by his family, his daughter Vanessa Pevec (Matt), granddaughters Myia, Taylor, and Maddisun, sister Loretta Coltman, nieces Sarah and Aimee, special friend Nancy. Remembered by other family members, Faith, Hope (Don), Sheri (Dave), Bruce, George (Linda), Betty (Harvey), Helen (George), Stella, Alison, and Tusula. Special thanks to dad’s caregiver Jana, and Dr Glen Maddison and the amazing staff at St Joseph’s Hospice. A special thanks to his closest buddies that always stood by him. In his final days the new family puppy, Leon “Joey Frank”, gave John much comfort. A Celebration of John’s Life will follow at a later date. Hello Vanessa and Family, I was so sad to hear your dad had died. Nancy had been keeping me up to date, so it wasn’t a big surprise. Still for you it is a big loss. Your dad was a good guy. He loved music and was a really good singer. We only get one dad, so hold him in your heart. Forgive, and remember the good stuff. He loved you very much honey! Xxx

May you be comforted by the outpouring of love that will surround you at this very sad time in your lives. Connected by blood but separated by life's circumstances, I will always remember John as a young boy madly skating around the rink at the Sarnia arena.
