Telzer, Helga Maria (n. Groebel)

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Helga passed on Monday May 8, 2017 at Trillium Villa Nursing Home in Sarnia, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Seigfried “Sigi”. Loving mother of Gary and his wife Louella of Point Edward and Andy and his wife Rachel of Oakville. Cherished grandmother of Marisa and Vanessa. Predeceased by her sister Elfriede Bonnard. Many will remember Helga as the proud proprietor of “Helga’s Hat Box” for many years. The family want to thank Dr. O’Sullivan for his many years of care, and a special thank you to the staff at Trillium Villa for their compassionate care of mom. Friends will be received at the McCormack Funeral Home – Stewart Chapel, 254 George Street (at College Avenue) on Wednesday May 24 for visitation starting at 1 pm. A Service of Remembrance will follow at 2 pm.
