Obituary Announcement
Gladys left this world with all her memories intact and lived a long happy and healthy life for 94+ years. She worked in sales for the Ontario Motor League which she excelled at and loved. She is predeceased by her husband Carm (2004) and her eldest son Kirk (2015). She leaves behind her son Guy and his wife Kelly, granddaughter Lindsey (Kevin), grandsons Jay (Alison), Blake (Heather) and great grandchildren Avi, Dax, Jack and Alex. Mom was a very adaptable person who enjoyed art and crafts, singing, modern music and just having fun. If we could all be as blessed as her! Cremation has taken place and a private family internment will follow at a later date. The family would like to thank Vision Rest Home for the wonderful family environment they provided. Thanks also to the staff at Bluewater Health for the compassionate care that they gave Mom at the end. She had strong spiritual beliefs that guided her through her long beautiful life.

Very sorry Guy for the loss of your Mom. My Mom knew her well and I had some lovely chats with her at Vision. They are now together. She rests now, free from this earthly pain. A wonderful lady.

How blessed was I to speak with her not so long ago? Her spirit was as strong as ever & I could hear the love in her voice for all her family and blessings of her life. May she find a perfect rest...

I remember meeting Gladys and saw that She was a real lady, but had a little devilish twinkle in her eye. I also saw how close she seemed to be to her son, Guy, and how he looked after her, even though she was a very capable lady. She will be missed at all the family gatherings, but cheered by her memories.
