I was so very sad to hear of the passing of your lovely mother Edith. My mother is Margaret Dee and your mother was so kind to Mum when she first moved to Albany in October. I was so grateful for your mother and the lovely bond of friendship they formed in such a short amount of time. I so enjoyed the short amount of time I got to spend with your Mom also. Mum also tells me that one of Edith’s grand daughters lives in Terrace BC where both my children live & work. My daughter Chloe works at Shames Mountain and is in charge of all the indoor staff. Please tell her to look Chloe up next time she goes skiing there.....though Mum tells me she has twins so I can’t imagine she has much free time for skiing. My son Ben works for Triton. I am sorry I missed your mother’s funeral. I am in Florida or otherwise Mum & I would have attended. Take care, and thank you for all the kindness you have shown my Mum. Your mom will live on in our hearts

Dear Margaret, Maureen, Mike & family. Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your Mom & Grandmother. She truly was a special lady who was very dear to our family. Dad & I are very glad we had one last visit with her on her 100th birthday. My dad & Eddie enjoyed talking about the good old days and I was impressed on how sharp her memory was. May God bless her and welcome her home. Sue & Al Bernier & Bill Hall

Very fond memories of meeting and spending time with Edie and Tom in Europe in 1976, visiting Sarnia with our two children in the mid 1990s. Edie's newsy letters were always a joy to read. Our thoughts and sympathies are with you at this sad and difficult time. We will always remember Edie with fondness. Rita and Roger.
