Dr. Edward Blake Butler

BUTLER, Edward (Ted) Blake – Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family. Ted was in practice as a Chiropractor for over 35 years in Corunna and Sarnia. He was born in Fort Erie, ON., is predeceased by his parents, the late Cecil and Jennie Butler, and 5 siblings. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 63 years, Lorraine (LeNeve) Butler, is the loving father of Heather, Gerry (Rose), Lynn (Rob), and Rick (Sherree), beloved grandfather of Jessica (Jesse), Marianne (John), Jeremy (Amanda), Justin (Tara), Devin, and Blake, and great grandfather to Lorraine and Benjamin. Ted was a loving, patient and caring person, who was quiet but quick witted. He was passionate about his family and work. Ted’s love of music was expressed through playing the piano. He was an active member of Central United Church and enjoyed his volunteer work there in many capacities through the years. His other interests included collecting antiques, refinishing furniture, watching the Blue Jays games on TV, playing games with his children and grandchildren and especially playing golf with friends. For many years he and Lorraine treasured their annual vacations with friends at Fern Resort. Ted will be deeply missed by all. Appreciation to Bluewater Health and LINH teams and other healthcare providers who made it possible for Ted to remain in the home he loved during his final days. The cremation has taken place and further arrangements are pending.
