Boer, Christiaan
Peacefully, on Saturday March 2, 2019, at his residence, at the age of 91. Christiaan was the beloved husband of the late Helen Rose (1984) for 25 years. Loving father of Leslie Salvatore and her husband Carmen and Kelly Boer and her husband Daniel Ho. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Jessica and Findley. At Christiaan’s request there will be no visitation and a private burial service will be taking place. Girls, I am sure you remember Edith Jennings. Your Dad boarded at her house years ago. She was my "Nana" grandmother, and I know you called her Nana as well. Your Dad was so very kind to her, and to my Mother Barbara Wise, we all adopted him into our family. (back in the 50's & 60's) I still have the book he once gave me for Christmas. He worked at Shell and so did my Dad. I have always had fond memories of him. I was 7 or 8 and had a huge crush on him. I remember the day your parents were married. He was a good guy. So very sorry for your loss.
