Charlotte Espey

We are honored to announce the reuniting of Charlotte Luise Espey with the love of her life Robert as she passed to be with him on Monday July 23, 2018.  Survived by her four children, Christopher, Courtney, Monica and Rebecca, and two of her grandchildren that she poured her life into Jaxson and Maguire; they have chosen to celebrate her tremendous contributions to their lives and to her community during this time. Born in 1948 and emigrated to Canada with her mom, she grew up in London Ontario and eventually got a job at the Dean of Law’s office at the University of Western Ontario where she would meet  a confident handsome young law student, Robert, who she would eventually marry. Tough times after academic life as Charlotte raised four children as Robert built his law practice slowly and surely in Oshawa Ontario. Settling on the nearby shores of Lake Scugog, Charlotte raised her family in the picturesque town of Port Perry.  It was here where she donated her time for her community; participating in the building of Emmanuel Pentecostal Church.  She worked tirelessly within the church as a treasurer and secretary to build the beautiful structure that stands to this day.

But her largest, most meaningful contribution was her investment into her children’s lives and the lives of two of her grand-children who have enriched their world with integrity and love.  As proof she was surrounded by a large family as she took her final breath. Well done Charlotte.
