Grant, Astrid
Peacefully and surrounded by her family on Monday March 20, 2017 at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, at the age of 87 years. Astrid, beloved wife of the late Malcolm (2010). Dear mother of Astrid and her husband Mike Davies and Mark Grant and his wife Susan. Cherished grandma of Bianca Alexander and her husband David, Astrid Raynor (Brian Szabo), Callum Raynor and his wife Sheila, Emma, Sean, Timothy, and Laura and great grandma “Gigi” to Lucas Szabo. Cremation has taken place. Many thanks to the wonderful nurses, doctors and staff at Bluewater Health for the wonderful care Mom received. Private family arrangements were entrusted to McCormack Funeral Home – Stewart Chapel, and completed with great sensitivity and care, thank-you. Donations to the Sarnia Humane Society would be appreciated.

Astrid, so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I don't imagine she had a chance to move into the retirement home and the enjoyment she may have had there. Thoughts and prayers. Doug

I met dear Astrid through Malcolm. He was a member of Victoria Lodge No. 56, as I am. Astrid was quick with a smile, and a comment to make everyone else smile. I have good memories of some shared Lodge events. I hope you have many good memories to share.
