Nancy, and family, So sorry to read about your mother’s passing. She was truly an amazing lady. She was a real gifted lady with so many talents. She could make something “very beautiful out of nothing”. I remember so fondly the “poncho” she made me out of a beautiful, multi coloured piece of scrap fabric (swirls of bright pink, yellow, orange, green and blue). I wore that poncho with such pride until it was tattered. I was blessed to have Nancy as my close friend and some of my favourite Summer memories are the time I spent at the lake. Although “mom Badgleys” house was full; she always had room for me. Mom Badgley endured some hardships but it never stopped her from sharing the kindness in her heart. She was always happy to share in the celebrations of others and tried to make their day special. She was so creative and I remember the “money birthday” cakes she would make. Such an amazingly creative way to make their birthday special. I was personally blessed with my “surprise wedding shower” she hosted for me. It was so beautiful and she was so excited. It was a very special day that I still cherish. She had such a beautiful smile and I will always remember her wearing her beautiful brooches and scarves that let her smile radiate even more. Each of you were blessed to have such a beautiful mom and grandma who loved unconditionally and overflowed with kindness in her heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May the precious memories you hold carry you through. Love Cheryl
