Van Huizen, Marie “Pat”
Peacefully with her family by her side, Pat passed at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Thursday January 15, 2026, at the age of 86. Pat was the beloved wife of late Stewart (2018) for 60 years. Loving mother of Jeff and his wife Debbie, Dan and his wife Sheri, and Ron and his wife Leslie. Cherished Grandma of Kimberly Bouma (Dustin), Katy Gordon (Rocky), Trent (Sarah), Aidan and Liam, and great grandma of Evan, Joy, Kyle and Anastasia. She will be remembered by her sisters-in-law; Phyllis Rossignal, Alice Nauta, Grace Johnson, and Kathy Miller. Predeceased by her parents Noah and Tina Rossignal, Greta Affleck (John), Al Rossignal (Carol), Greg Rossignal (Lauren), and Joe Rossignal. Pat will be remembered for her love of bingo and card games. She was a long time Optimist member. She loved her job working at the Lambton Board of Education. Loved vacationing and traveling with Stewart and their friends. Friends will be received at the McCormack Aquamation Burial & Cremation Services, 254 George Street (at College Avenue) for visitation on Monday January 19 at 10 am. A Funeral Service will follow at McCormack Aquamation Burial & Cremation Services at 11 am. Cremation will follow.
