Condolences

Dear Alyssa and Michael, Please accept my sincere condolences. I am unable to attend this afternoon but I remember your Dad most fondly from St. Michael’s Parish and from seeing him at the corner of Hamilton and Wildwood to ensure the children’s safety. Holding you gently in thought and prayer, with love, Janet.

It is with my deepest condolences to Steve’s family, I write this message. My interaction with Steve was limited to our chats when I would be picking up or dropping off my kids to school here in Bright’s Grove. I lead new to the area about ten years ago, and I introduced myself to him one day heading to the school. Over the next several years we would share many stories, well in fact, Steve would share his thoughts on things more than I would😊but I really enjoyed listening to him and all he had to share. He was an articulate man, who shared that he loved to read. We would chat about books we had read or maybe a new movie that caught our attention. Steve loved his job of making sure the kids crossed safely, he took such pride in that I could tell. I will forever remember our brief friendship, I would say, in the last several years and I will remember him fondly whenever I pass that crossing by the schools. Take care, Matt Daye

I'm very saddened to be writing of my brother in-law and brother in heart, Stepen's passing. Of course I share the most sincere conndolences with my wife Linda (Round) Quinton, Alysa and all of the family and friends of Stephen. As Stephen has asked for, I am happy and proud to celebrate the important life he had. Stephen had challenges in his life. He wrestled these challenges to the ground, defeated them and committed to helping others in similar ways for the rest of his life, a great way to pay penance and build even more meaning into his life. Stephen was a loving husband , father, brother and friend. He leaves a void in his community and will be missed but he also has left strength and love with so many. Rest in peace brother.
