Obituary

Jones, Barbara Ann

With her family by her side, on Tuesday December 9, 2025, at Victoria Hospital in London, at the age of 76. Barb was the beloved wife of Mike for over 60 years. Loving mother of Mike and his wife Jill. Cherished Grandma of Corey Jones (Carley Moore), Robyn Perrie (Trevor), Shara Jones, and Ryan Jones. Barb will be missed by her brother Howard (Victoria) McRae and their family. She was predeceased by her parents Bob & Betty Macklin. Barb worked hard her entire life, mostly at Brian’s Footwear on London Line for over 30 years, until it closed. After which, Barb was approached by Work Authority to open a Sarnia store on Confederation Street, where she still worked full time, until only recently when her health declined. Barb will be missed by the many customers she served, and the friends she made over those years. Barb will be remembered for her kindness and the love she had for her family, her son Mike was her pride and joy. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Barb will be dearly missed by their many friends her and Mike made over their 30 plus years vacationing in Mexico. Barb and Mike enjoyed many years and made many friends bowling at Marcin Bowl. They enjoyed dining out at their many favorite restaurants in the Sarnia area. A private family interment has taken place. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Barb’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. If desired, a remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society or The War Amps in Barb’s name, would be appreciated.

Condolences Mike to you & your family... Barb was a nice lady, always very pleasant. I'd see her at Brian's Footwear / Work Authority over the years. We'd see you guys out for bike rides along the lake in the summer...I'm guessing that she kept you in check. Thinking of you at this sad time. John & Kelly Marks.
