Glaab, Marjorie Aileen
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie Aileen (Hendra, Pasquan) Glaab, on Sunday October 9, 2022, just a few weeks past her 100th birthday. She is the loving mother of Karen Gilbert (Pasquan) and her husband Don. Nan will be remembered by her two grandsons, Steven Gilbert (Lisa), and Darren Gilbert (Adrienne), and her great-grandchildren, Colby, Kathryn, Caulin, and Hannah, who referred to her as “Great-Nan”. Marjorie is also survived by her sister Dona Hyatt (Wayne). Predeceased by her husbands John Pasquan (1957), and Norman Patrick Glaab (2001), brother Ralph Hendra (Laura), sisters Evelyn Minielly (Les), Jeane Thompson (Ralph), brothers-in-law Frank Pasquan (Vivian), and William Pasquan (Mary), sisters-in-law Linda McLaughlin (William) and Isabelle Jackson (Ted). She will also be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was retired from Lambton News Service, where she was the office manager for many years. Mom loved her flowers, summers in Point Edward and Blue Point Bay, and winters in South Ft. Myers at Jamaica Bay, Florida. The family wish to express their gratitude to Afton Park Place, and the staff of Somerset, for the compassionate care of mom. Family and friends will be received at the McCormack Funeral Home, 254 George Street (at College Avenue) on Thursday October 13 for visitation starting at 12 Noon. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. Interment of cremated remains to follow at Zion Cemetery.
