Foster, Agnew

Peacefully, On Sunday January 4, 2026, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, at the age of 82. Agnew was the loving father of Iain Foster (Sierra Hart) and Kenneth Foster. Cherished grandfather of Sean Foster, Juniper Hart, and Gryphon Hart. Agnew Foster, Writer of Poetry, Artist. He will be remembered by his sister Irene McGregor and Anne Burnside (Andy), his nephew Adam MacGregor (Anne), and his niece Sue McGregor (Nigel Thompson). Agnew was predeceased by his parents Margaret and William Foster, his brother-in-law Alex McGregor, and his ex-wife Dorothy Foster. Agnew will be remembered as a writer of poetry, for his artistic talents, and as being a proud 50+ year Plumber of U.A. Local 46 Toronto. The family wish to extend their appreciate to the staff and friends at Afton Park Place, as well as the nursing staff in Palliative Care at Bluewater Health. Aquamation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at McCormack Aquamation Burial & Cremation Services, located at 254 George Street (at the corner of College Avenue) for visitation on Wednesday March 18, from 2 – 4 pm. A Celebration of Agnew’s Life will follow on Thursday March 19 at McCormack Aquamation Burial & Cremation Services, at a time to be announced. Interment to follow at Lakeview cemetery.
