Selinger, Eleanor
Peacefully on Friday August 3, 2018 at Vision Nursing Home in Sarnia, at the age of 84. Eleanor was the wife the late Frank. Survived by her children Stephen Selinger (Joanne), Carol McNeil (Michael), Leslie Selinger, and Jim Selinger. Remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer and Jessica McNeil, and Eleanor and Emrys Selinger. Survived by her siblings Judith, Hugh, Don, Terry, Phil, Clem, Larry, Vincent, and Randy. Predeceased by Stan and Melvin “Spike”. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at St Benedict’s Catholic Church, 1011 Oak Street, Sarnia for Memorial Mass on Friday August 10 at 10 am. Entombment to take place at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Eleanor’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. My sincere condolences to the Selinger family. I have a fond memory of eating fries under the bridge with Eleanor and her daughter Leslie one of my dearest friends. She was always kind to me and put with our silly girl antics when I had the chance to visit. She will be missed.
