Fleischer; Edward, Michael “Ted”

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Michael Fleischer, affectionately known as "Ted", to his family, friends & acquaintances. Ted passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at University Hospital, London, ON. Ted was 54 years old and had a long battle with diabetes. Ted was remarkably positive throughout his life, always planning for the future. If you knew Ted, you would know him as an extremely kind individual, full of humour and always ready to offer advice. He studied, shared and followed scripture thoroughly. He was a very sincere, loveable guy. He would do anything for his family, especially his children, Sarah, Michael (Chelsea) and Thomas Fleischer and their mother, Brenda. Admired by his brothers and sisters, Paul Fleischer (Sherry), Robert Fleischer (Flory), Daniel Dabringhaus (Diane), Heather Sharpe (Dave), Beth Higgins (Warren), Faith Bradley (Scott), Dawn Marie Bradley (Tyler). A self-proclaimed and rightly earned, favourite uncle of Richard Scott (Heather), Kelly Boston (Tac), Katie & Christine Fleischer and Ethan & Ella Dabringhaus. Ted will be fondly remembered by his step mother, Jeanette Fleischer-Catto, and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends. Ted is predeceased by his father, Walter Fleischer, his mother, Catherine Fleischer, and his niece Karen Bechard. We love you Ted and know that you are at peace in heaven with God by your side. Ted’s family has scheduled a “Celebration of Life” reception, where family, friends, and acquaintances are invited to attend to share condolences, scripture and stories.

It will take place at McCormack Funeral Home – Stewart Chapel, 254 George Street, Sarnia (at College Avenue) on Saturday, December 17, from 12:00 noon till 2:00 pm. ADA accessible.
