Carson; Gerald
Peacefully, on Friday October 21st, 2016 at St Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, at the age of 81. Gerald, beloved husband of Helen for 60 years. Loving father of Craig and his wife Maureen, Burke, and James and his wife Andrea. Cherished grandpa of Chandra, Jenna and her husband Scott, Andie, Shannon and Tara. He will be missed by his brother’s Ron and Bruce, and his twin sisters Verna Fleuelling and her husband Ron, and Irma Priester and her husband Pete. Gerald was a Chartered Accountant for 40 years, a Shriner - King Hiram Lodge 78, church member and past treasurer of St Lukes United Church, life member of the Sarnia Lawn Bowling Club and treasurer of the Huron House Boys Home for many years. The family would like to acknowledge the staff of St Joseph’s Hospice for their outstanding care shown towards Gerald and compassion shown to his family. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at St Lukes United Church for visitation on Saturday October 29th from 11am till 12 noon. A Service of Remembrance will follow at 12 noon. If desired, donations to St Joseph’s Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
