McDONALD; Aileen Gwendolynn

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aileen McDonald on Saturday September 17, 2016 at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, at the age of 87. Aileen was the beloved wife of the late Ray (2011) for 63 years. Loving mother of Garry (Mary Ellen) and Jeff (Cindy). The cherished grandma of Melissa Alcaide, Laura (Brice) Brown, Ryan (Cristen), Jason (Bridget), Kyle and David (Jenny). Much loved great grandma of Amanda, Solana, Caden, Nolan, Mackenzie, Emily, Finn and Nora. Aileen was also a special aunt to Rachel (Grant) Garrow, Elizabeth (John) Mariconda and Grant (Jeff) Holly. Many may remember Aileen and Ray owned and operated Ray's Furniture Plus. She will also be fondly remembered by the many friends she made and the staff at Twin Lakes Terrace Retirement Home. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at Community of Christ Church, (1104 Leckie Drive, Sarnia) for visitation on Thursday October 6th beginning at 11:30 am. A Memorial Service will follow at Community of Christ at 1 pm. A private interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
