Budgell, Joy (nee Stuckless)

March 21, 1937-October 2, 2025

Sadly and peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, on Thursday October 2, 2025, with her family by her side, Joy passed away at the age of 88. She was born to Robert Stuckless and Marjorie (nee Butler) in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. She was witty right up to the end and cherished her family and friends. She has gone to dance with her late husband Donald Budgell (April 15, 1994) in heaven. Dancing was a favorite thing to do with her love. Loving Mother to Sherry Johnson and her husband Dave, grandsons Craig DeLoof and Lauretta, Kyle DeLoof and Ginelle, great grandson Benjamin and great granddaughter Remington Rayne. Predeceased by her son Dennis Budgell (October 10, 2017). She lived a very full life for most of her years, was a floral designer, and her favorite place to visit was Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She also loved dinners with all the family around her. A very big thank you to the nurses and doctors at Bluewater Health, 5th floor, Palliative Care, and, to Dr. Yoshida. Cremation will take place and McCormack Funeral Home will provide a graveside service to be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, entrance off of Colborne Rd., on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, at 11:00 am.
