Obituary

Lindsay, Charles “Chuck”

Surrounded by his family, Chuck passed on Sunday March 23, 2025, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, at the age of 80. Chuck was the beloved husband of Wendy for 59 years. Loving father of Lisa Mariuz (Franco) and Charley Lindsay (Lori). Cherished grandpa of Alex Mariuz (Sydnie), Colin Mariuz, Braxton Lindsay and Kensley Lindsay, GG-Pa to Adaline and Everett. He will be missed by his brother John Lindsay (Diane), brother-in-law Barry Dowdell (Joanne), and many nieces and nephews. His will be fondly remembered by his lifelong friends Anne Hillier, and Bonnie and Miller MacLaren. Predeceased by his parents John and Annie (n. Gorman) Lindsay, and his sister Isabel, and his nephew Steve Lindsay. Chuck was a survivor of a heart transplant for 22 years. Chuck was also a die hard Toronto Maple Leaf’s and Blue Jay’s fan to the very end. We will miss his dry sense of humour. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Chuck’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. If desired, donations may be expressed to either S.O.D.A. or to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
