Ok Mom – drive it straight down the fairway – make a good chip, roll and a putt… in the jar, until we see you again… Bob’s your Uncle! We love you Mom … Me too!
To The Families of Shirley McKenzie Dear Lynne, Barbara & Families: I was saddened to read of your loss and sorrow. Shirley and I became friendly when we both worked at Polymer/Polysar. Later when Shirley was volunteering for the Red Cross, she met my husband Remi and he would come home sharing hilarious stories that they shared - that was Shirley. It must have been a hoot with both of them there. My prayers and blessings for strength and faith. Deepest Condolences, Sorrowfully, Doris Braekevelt

I had the pleasure of getting to know Shirley at the Sarnia Golf Club when she joined my fitness class. She always had a smile on her face and a joke to share. She was a bundle of energy and a welcome addition to the class. I had known her for quite a few years before we realized that I had gone to high school with her daughter Barb in Forest. I'm happy I had the good fortune to meet her.

I remember when Aunt Shirl and Lynne would visit from Sarnia in the summer. Everyone would gather at our house and the party would begin. Aunt Shirl could ROCK our piano. My Dad sprained his ankle doing a "Scottish jig" while she played. Now I know what a long drive it was for she and Lynne. No four lane highways, just the old two lane. What a determined independent woman, years ahead of her time.
