Park; Edsel “Ed” Milton
Edsel was born in Pympton-Wyoming Township on March 19th, 1934. He died Friday June 3rd, 2016 at Sumac Lodge with his wife Joan of 52 years and his family at his side. He is survived by his daughter Corinne Morton of Listowel Ont., Julie Simpson and her husband Hugh of Oil Springs and Brian of Sarnia. Cherished by his two special granddaughters Justine Haveman and her husband Joey of Sarnia and Heather Simpson of Hamilton. Survived by his sister Jean Roache of Cambridge and his brother Harvey Park and his wife Beth of St. Thomas, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents in 1954 and 1990, his brother Irvine in 2013 and his sister Leila in 2015. Edsel farmed on the family homestead for a couple years before moving to Sarnia. He worked at Uniroyal and as a mechanic at Tank Truck Transport. He was a long time member of the Community County Radio Club. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at Central Baptist Church (391 London Road) on Monday June 6th for Memorial Visitation at 10 am. A Celebration of Edsel’s Life will follow at 11 am.
