Dear Gary and Andy: This has to be the saddest email I have ever had to compose. I hadn’t seen your Mother since last Fall. Shame on me. The realization that she had moved came on “OUR” birthday. One of the neighbours said the house had been sold and he didn’t know where she went. She was a true and dear friend. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow, Thursday, May 18 but will do my best to return for her Service of Remembrance on Wednesday. My sincerest condolences to both of you and your families. “Lou-Sue” Toutant.Dear Gary and Andy: This has to be the saddest email I have ever had to compose. Remembering Helga....and her love of playing cribbage and I enjoyed playing it with her at the Strangway Center. Especially the way her face would smile and she would say, I have a dozen when her hand was played. Enjoyed the baking she would sometimes bring and talking to her about her garden and love for sorrel ! We missed her and her smiling face these last few months. And I am sorry for the loss her family will share.

Dear Gary and Andy and families, We are so sad to hear of the loss of your Mom. She has been in our lives for so many years and my Mom will miss her deeply...her dearest friend. I have such happy memories of Helga. She made me many little hats when I was a child and I loved them! I hope you find comfort in all your happy memories of her and your family. Remember the beach on the river? We all spent so many days there in the summertime. Elvera, Johanne and Dale

Ross and I would like to pass on our condolences to Gary, Andy and their families. Helga and Sigi were great neighbours. We always enjoyed our chats by the fence in our backyards. Your Mom will be fondly remembered for her friendship, great baking, beautiful gardens and her hardy laugh. We will not be able to attend the memorial but our thought are with you all. Ross and Karen.
