Marks, Georgina “George”

Peacefully, after a brief battle with Cancer, on Thursday May 18, 2017 at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, at the age of 67. Georgina, beloved wife of the late Alfred “Alfie” (1989). Loving mother of Chris of Surrey BC, and Carrie of London Ontario, and cherished Grandma of Sheldon of Surrey BC and Brandon of Cambridge. She will be sadly missed by her sister Frances Bisnette, her sister-in-law Betty Page, brother-in-law Dave Marks (Barb), sister-in-law Darlene Serratore (Larry), her uncle Brian (Pat) Rothwell of Font Hill, and her many relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents George Herron (1981) and Irene (1993), and her brother-in-law Bud Marks. The family would like to thank Dr. Kim and the staff at Palliative Care - Bluewater Health for their compassionate care. Friends will be received at the McCormack Funeral Home – Stewart Chapel, 254 George Street (at College Avenue) for visitation on Thursday May 25th from 12 to 1 pm. A Celebration of Georgina’s Life will follow at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
