Obituary Announcement

DAILEY, Melvin, Dean ‘Mel’

Peacefully, while holding the hands of his loving family, made his final journey to his eternal home in Heaven on June 4, 2020. Grandson of Nathaniel (1960) and Myrtle Moloy (1963). Son
of Dean (Canadian Army WW II) (1999) and Mildred Major (2007). Father of Todd, Trevor, Tyler (1976), Melissa, Janet, and Tyson. Grandfather of Nathaniel Finn and Lucas Finn. Brother of Dale (2019) and Wayne. Survived by former wife and mother of his children, Joan Campbell-Grant. Mel was born in 1942 in Sarnia, Ontario. He was a graduate of Wayne State University (1968). He became an entrepreneur with many professional interests including insurance, restaurants, and taxi cabs. Mel was a past-president of the Sarnia-St Clair Optimist Club. It is with saddened hearts that we must say ‘until we meet again.’ He will be missed by his family and friends, as we remember his desire to make the most out of the present. Carpe Diem! Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Mel’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sunshine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
