Mackenzie, Linda Jean

 

Linda Jean Mackenzie (n. Cousins), passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, on March 31, 2020 at the age of 66 with family by her side. Devoted wife of 7 years to Ronald (Red) Mackenzie. Loving mother of Sandra and Shon Mitchell, and Jill and Ryan Desjardins. Dearest stepmother of Jessica and Tyler Boyd, Matthew and Nicole Mackenzie and Aurie (canine baby). Adoring Grandmother to Dominique, Neve, Jordan, Isaiah, Kai, Arianna, Connor and Maxwell. Born August 11, 1953 in Essex County to the late Gerald and Jean Cousins, predeceased by her big brother Donald (Linda). She will be forever remembered for being kind-hearted, generous and a true friend. She enjoyed the simple things in life like tending to her garden, spending time by the water and riding on Harleys. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the staff at Bluewater Health in Sarnia as well as her home care nurses Imelda and Sheila. If you so desire, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Victoria’s Quilts Canada (VQC) in her honor. Due to the current circumstances a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Sandy, Jill and extended Family members Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear about your mother's passing. I remember Aunt Linda as always smiling and such a happy person to be around.
