Florence Elizabeth Whitehead

It is with much sadness we announce that Florence Elizabeth Whitehead passed away on Saturday December 6th, 2025, at Vision Nursing Home in Sarnia, at the age of 94. Born in Port Hope Ontario, on April 10th, 1931, she was married to Jack Whitehead in 1947. The couple settled in Sarnia in 1950. Florence was a talented seamstress an avid knitter. She volunteered at the legion as a cook and was a mother figure to many children whom she took care of throughout the years. Florence is predeceased by her husband Jack. Florence will be fondly remembered by her many friends especially Carla Timperley and family. Always quick with a joke and a witty story, she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at C.E.E. Bluewater Health Petrolia and Vision Nursing Home for their compassionate care of Florence. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains to take place on Friday April 10th, 2026, at Lakeview Cemetery in Sarnia, at 11 am. All are welcome.
