Thompson, Darryl Gordon
Suddenly, on Wednesday December 25, 2024, at his residence, at the age of 59. Darryl was the beloved husband of Suzanne for 15 years (n. Silverthorne). Very loving father of Lindsay Dawn Thompson, Crystal Lee-Ann Thompson, Shelby Walter Gerstel-Thompson, Hank Williams Thompson, Andrew Timothy Thompson, and Frances Scott. Also survived by Joshua Ruckle (Colleen), Matthew Ruckle (Kathleen), and Catherine Ruckle (Aarron). Cherished Grandpa and Papa of Kaidence, Colby, Kylie, Kendall, Madelyn, Charlotte, Daniel, and his newest grandson Archer Darryl. He will be sadly missed by his brother Christopher and mom and dad (Bryan and Cathay) Silverthorne, and his furry companions Sox and Gracie. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Virginia Thompson and a daughter Darlene. Darryl (Blackie) had a love for life spending it with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies include fabricating, building diecast cars, stereo systems and other odd jobs around his property. He was a Mopar man at heart with a soft spot for Ford Trucks. Family and friends will be received at the McCormack Funeral Home for visitation Saturday January 4 from 12 – 4 pm. Cremation will follow.
