Ross, David, Andrew

Following a brave and lengthy battle with cancer, David Andrew Ross passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Friday, January 9th at the age of 65. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Ross; his two beautiful grandchildren Lucas and Hannah; his sister Deborah Taylor (Ross); his nieces Krista Merkley (Ross) and Amanda Taylor, and his nephew Ryan Taylor. Predeceased by his mother Mary Ross (McCartney); his father Howard Ross; his sister Elizabeth (Liz) Gibson (Ross), and his brother Robert (Bobby) Ross. He will fondly be remembered for his quick wit, colourful vocabulary and kind heart. Dave was a proud member of local pipefitters union 663, working in the Valley for most of his career. He lived in Sarnia with his best buddy, his cat Charlie. Dave was a life-long fan of the Oakland Raiders and Harley Davidson, having owned a couple over the years. He was the best tipper, always had a cold Molson in the fridge and had a smile on his face that reached his eyes. He was never without a welder’s cap and always dressed in his best clothes for every appointment. He will be dearly missed. Aquamation has taken place.
