Obituary
Middleton, Ruthann Eileen
Peacefully, with family by her side, on Thursday October 30, 2025, at Afton Park Place in Sarnia, at the age of 80. Ruthann is survived by her son Dennis Middleton, from British Columbia, and her granddaughters Brooke Lynn Riley (Dane), Sara Ann, and her great grandchildren Cash and Ivy. She will be also missed by her sister Susan and Dan Hopp, niece Deanna Mansell, nephew Dean Mansell, and her great niece Danielle Mansell. Predeceased by her parents Eillen and Paul Kortes, sister and brother in law Marilyn and John Terwilligar, and her nephew in law John Darimont. Ruthann loved sales because she loved people. For many years she was an Interior Decorator, at one point owning her own business with her niece Deanna. Later she became a Senior Director for Melaleuca. She will be remembered to many as Miss Fantastic because when asked she always answered “fantastic”. Ruthann was loved by many. A special thank you to the staff at Afton Park for their compassionate care of Ruthann, and all they do for all the residents. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed the family online in “Ruthann’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. If desired, a donation to the Canadian Institute for the Blind, or an institution of your choice would be appreciated.
