John Stewart McPartland
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Stewart McPartland at St. Joseph’s Hospice on January 5, 2022, at the age of 91. John was born in Kilmarnock Scotland on December 23,1930, and was a proud veteran of the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment). He loved golf and was a member of Greystone for many years. He leaves behind his sister-in-law and devoted caregiver Patricia McPartland, and special niece Eleanor (Peter) LaForge. Also, great-uncle to Bill (Jasmine) Davidson and Lesley (James) McKenney and great-great uncle to Russell, Robert and Benjamin. Will be missed by special friends Mary, Matthew and Todd. Predeceased by parents Michael and Agnes (Stewart) McPartland, brothers Ralph and Charles and sisters Helen (Hokanson) Hakimian, Mary Murray, and Williamina Reid. Also predeceased by much loved nephews Ralph and Michael McPartland and Robert (Elizabeth) Hokanson. John loved his feline constant companion Mr. Jiggs.
