Obituary

McCallum, Sandra Rose (nee Berry)
Sandra Rose McCallum (nee Berry)passed away peacefully on Sunday May 17, 2026, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia. Sandra is lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Terry McCallum, her son Jason, daughter-in-law Joycelyn, two cherished grandchildren Mya and Nicholis, sister-in-law Darlene Armstrong and Aunt Joyce Finlayson. Sandra was predeceased by her parents Jim and Rose Berry. She is survived by her sisters Jill, Carol, Patricia, Jackie and her brother Jim, as well as many beloved extended family members. During the pandemic, with the help of seemingly hundreds of Harlequin movies, Sandy and Terry fell in love all over again. Sandy loved to dance, golf and go on fun trips with Darlene and Ron. Sandy was a kind and gentle person who was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be missed by many and especially by her beloved husband Terry. As a family we extend a sincere appreciation to all the doctors and nurses at Bluewater Health who provided loving and caring attention along the way. We especially send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sung who is a wonderful doctor and even better human being. A celebration of life will be held for the family at a later date. Remembrances and condolences may be shared online in "Sandy's Guestbook" at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Bluewater Health or the Sarnia & District Humane Society.

I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. Blessings and condolences to Terry and her family. Sandy and I worked together on and off over the years and when I saw her a few weeks ago she suggested we get together for coffee when her treatment was completed. Bless your heart, Sandy, we'll have that coffee on the other side.

I worked with Sandy for several years. She was the one who arranged all of the birthday lunches in the office, and ran the lottery pool. After she retired it was not unusual for me to come home to find a plastic bag full of paperback books hanging from my back door handle that Terry had read because she knew that I enjoyed reading that genre. She was a kind and thoughtful person and her family meant everything to her. My condolences to Terry and all of her family. She will be missed
