Obituary

Comeau, Armand

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Armand Hervé Comeau at Afton Park Place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the age of 91 with his children and grand-children by his side. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (Sauvé) Comeau. Loving and devoted father of Raymond (Lisa) of St Thomas US Virgin Island, Louise Morin (Jean-Guy) of Sarnia, and Helene Comeau-Pellett (the late Doug Pellett) of Port Lambton. Loving grandfather to Serena, David (Jeff), Luke, Eli, Rachelle (Jason), Marc (Lisa), Nancy (Brad), Denise (Chris), and Richard (Bekah), and great-grandfather to 16 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Denise Kirk. Also surviving are several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Eugene and Delima Comeau, brothers Gérard and Roger, and sisters Alice, Fernande, Annette, Monique, Jeannine, Jean-Rose, Ghyslaine, and Carmen. Armand owned Como Electric Co. Ltd. doing business in Lambton County for many years. After retirement, he began working at Dow Chemicals. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, working in his back yard watching birds, camping, and going around with his golf cart or scooter. He loved playing cards, especially poker and pepper with family and friends. He devoted his life to his family. He will be fondly remembered for his jokes, smiles, laughter and mostly his kindness. He will be sadly missed but will live in our hearts forever. Aquamation has taken place. Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas D’Aquin Church, 895 Champlain Road in Sarnia on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 am, internment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery & Crematorium 1885 London Line next to his wife. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Armand's Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish, may send memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N. Christina Street, Sarnia, ON N7T 5W3.
