Obituary
Britton, Margaret Jean
Margaret Jean Britton, age 74, peacefully passed away at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Saturday June 1, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. She was the dear mother of Lisa (Terry), Jacqueline (Terry), and Dustin (Shane), and proud grandmother to Jacob, Adam, Rebecca, Ashton, Chloe, Bethany, and Madeline. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Russell and Elizabeth McGirr, and her two sisters Janet and Peggy. For over 50 years she drove a school bus getting our children home safely! She made the best lemon meringue pie ever. Her pleasures were simple, and her wants were few. If her family was happy, so was she. A warm and sincere thanks to Dr Bhalla, Dr Crombeen, Dr MacSweeney, and the devoted staff at Med 4, and Palliative Care at Bluewater Health. Thank you for your kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Margaret's Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com.
This is not a message to say goodbye, instead, it is a message of encouragement and embracing wonderful memories. For nothing loved is ever lost!!!

My sincerest condolences to Marg’s family . I have know Marg since Grade 5 and we might not have travelled in the same company of friends, she always left me with a sense of being a strong young girl and woman. We reconnected through Facebook a few years ago so we both caught up with each other’s lives. I will miss her funny side every morning when I watched for her quip of the day. Sincere regards to Marg’s family. Brenda Bishop.
