Obituary
Bock, Estelle Joyce (n. Kingsley)
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Estelle Joyce Bock on May 26th, 2025, in her 96th year. Estelle was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leon Bock (1994), and will be dearly missed by her sons Kevin and Jamie, daughter-in-law Natasha, and her cherished grandchildren Brandon, Scarlett, and Donovan. Estelle devoted her entire professional life to the accounting department at Dow Chemical, where she was respected for her precision and dedication. A proud and faithful member of the congregation at St. Giles Church, she found joy and fellowship in her spiritual community. Estelle was known for her quick mind, deep curiosity, and spirited conversations. Fiercely independent, she lived in her own home and maintained it beautifully right up until her passing - tending her garden, feeding her backyard squirrels, and keeping everything just so. Estelle was a talented cook and baker; her shortbread and lemon loaf were legendary among family and friends. She found joy in her book club and took great pride in her involvement with her sorority, where she built lasting friendships and shared many laughs. Estelle lived a life full of warmth, wisdom, and grace. She will be remembered for her strong will, her generous spirit, and the love she poured into her home and family. Thank you to her many neighbours and friends, her close friend Cindy, and the home and health care workers who supported her. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the McCormack Funeral Home, 254 George St. Sarnia, (at College Avenue), for visitation on Monday June 2nd from 10 to11 am. A Celebration of Estelle’s Life will follow at 11 am. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Estelle’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. Donations in Estelle's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, a cause close to her heart, or to St. Giles Church.

Condolences
Sending love and hugs to Estelle's family as they celebrate her life. Estelle contributed so much to St. Giles and all the other institutions in which she participated. She was well-loved by the members at St. Giles. We particularly enjoyed the Annual Ladies' Lunches that she organized. She always had a game to challenge us. Bill enjoyed the conversations that they had. Doreen Blake

To the Bock Family: Thinking of you and your family at this most difficult time. Many fond memories of Estelle in Bright's Grove and her lawn with Weed Man Sarnia. She loved her lawn a little more than her than family, lol. RIP Estelle
