Obituary

JUDITH ROSE ARMSTRONG (BUDDEN)
MARCH 9TH, 1940 - MAY 9TH, 2026

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Judith Rose Armstrong is announcing her peaceful passing at the age of 86 on Sat May 9th, 2026. She will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends and especially "The Rat Pack" club, some who have known her since she arrived in Canada. Judith is pre-deceased by her mother, Nellie Budden (Ross) and her father James Budden. Judith is at peace now and reunited with her husband Glenn William who passed in 2021 and her son Shawn, who passed in 1995. Judi, was a devoted mother to Shawn and Tracey-Leah, as well as a mother-in-law to her soon to be son-in-law Mike Cross. She was a big sister to younger brother Harry and his wife, Doris (deceased) and a beautiful aunt to her nieces and nephew, Phillip, Pam and Susan. She was honored to be a devoted grandmother to Ashleigh (Dylan) and Brooke and a great grandma (Gi Gi) to Addison, her pride and joy. In her extended family, she was also dedicated to and loved an additional grandchildren and great grandchildren who blessed her life. Judith held a special place in her heart for her favorite niece Linda Francis-Major and cousins Carol and Paula. Together they had great stories and many laughs to share.

Judi was an extremely proud woman who always pushed you to be the best that you could be in the moment and thrived on helping you make your dreams come true in the future. She taught us all to be the independent women we are and to stand against the world. She was the first to help anyone in need and to take in any animals who were lost or homeless. She was the true definition of what an amazing wife, mother, friend and family member, as anyone could be. She will be missed dearly but will remain in our hearts, our memories and our everyday lives forever.

Our family would like to send out a huge thank you to the staff of Afton Park Place Nursing Home. Your dedication to mom made it easier for me to come there every day and not feel guilty for not having her home. You praised me all the time, but deep down the staff and PSW's deserve all the praise. Aquamation has taken place. At this time, there will be no service for Judith. Once things settle down, we will decide next steps. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Judi’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. Both Mom & Dad were huge fans of the Human Society and the CNIB. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to these organizations on her behalf.
