Obituary Announcement

Dagg, Ernest Roy

Peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia at the age of 69. Ernie was the only child of his predeceased parents Augustina (n. Palmer) and Roy Dagg, all of Sarnia. He is survived by sons Blair (Heide), Ian (Kirsten), and granddaughters Arielle, Zyla, and Lyric of Edmonton, Alberta. Ernie was a decorated Queen’s Scout in St George’s 7th Troop, and a proud member of the Sarnia Legion. Heartfelt thanks to Aunt Maxine for her loving care and support over many years. Dr. Eamon Gamble (retired) and the entire staff at Trillium Nursing Home were a real godsend to Ernie. The Trillium family needs to know how very much Ernie cared about you as friends and how grateful he was for the quality of attention you gave him over the last 10 years. There is no visitation. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Ernest’s Guestbook” mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. Family and friends are welcome to attend the brief graveside ceremony and interment to be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, Ontario on Saturday, January 28, at noon.

Message For The Family.

My condolences and prayers to the entire Dagg Family. I always looked forward to seeing and chatting with Ernie when I worked at Trillium Villa. He always had an interesting story to tell about "this day in history" or a joke to share. He will be missed.
