My deepest condolences to Art's family. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. I fondly remember Art as a fierce competitor in the Wednesday night sail racing program and as a real gentleman. By the sounds of it he was also a great community volunteer and will be a great loss to many.

I am the chair of the St. Luke's Church council. I want you to know that I, along with many other members of St. Luke's, will dearly miss Art's warm, friendly greeting on Sundays. He always had a wonderful smile and would always ask me how things were going. Art would often offer to help us in whatever way he could. I enjoyed receiving his friendly handshakes. He was a dear gentleman who was loved by all who knew him. I extend to you my sincere condolences

Dear Jared Heather Lisa and Kim, Mike and I send you all our deepest sympathy. Art was a part of our family for many years and we have very fond memories of him. He was truly devoted to my sister and for that I am grateful. Covid has been so unkind to many people and I know that isolation was very difficult for him. Thinking about all of you in this difficult time. Mike and Heather Saar

To Art's family: I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Art sat in front of myself and my grandchildren each Sunday at St. Luke's United Church. I always liked to get there early as Art loved talking to us and catching up with what we did during the week, especially the youngest, Matthew. He had the most kind way about him. I never saw him without a smile and always offered a warm hug each Sunday. We will miss him dearly. God bless and many thoughts and prayers to all of you.
