Obituary Announcement

Balcombe, Amy Louise

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Amy Louise Trainor Balcombe on March 20th, 2021. Amy was born on July 5th, 1959 in Sarnia.  Dear and loving Mother to Tammy and Cory Balcombe, Sarnia and devoted Grandmother to Brandon, Shelby, James, Richard, Ryan, Austin and Chloe. Dear sister to Peter and his wife Loretta Trainor, St Thomas, Patricia and her husband Pierre Francoeur, Sarnia, Danny and his wife Brenda Trainor of Sarnia, and nieces and nephews and family friends.  Amy will be re-united with her loving parents Peter (1995) and Myrtle (Mickey) (1989) Trainor, baby brother Michael (1949) and father to her children Don Balcombe (2014.) Amy loved growing up in the “Tree Streets” at the family home on Poplar Avenue which always held a special place in Amy’s heart.  Attending Queen Elizabeth and St. Clair High Schools, she loved doing home and creative craft projects and was very talented at whatever she set her mind to. One of Amy’s enduring characteristics was her great sense of humor and infectious laugh.  Most of all Amy loved travelling by train and visiting with the Montreal family and her special and favorite cousin Jimmy Trainor. Cremation has taken place with Interment to follow with family at Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish, may send memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sarnia. Dear Tammy and Cory and the Trainor Family, I will remember Amy for her great sense of humour and laugh, she always had a smile on her face and would brighten a room with her presence. She will be with each of you always in your heart, keep close the happy times and special memories shared, those memories will give you comfort at this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending love and hugs, Bev Horodyski (Danny's sister-in-law)

Jimmy Trainor

Amy wouldn't say goodbye, she always said, " See ya later, " and that's what we'll do. When we laugh, it will always be with you in heart and mind. See ya later Amy.

Joanne Trainor
